PL02 - Bamboo Stick Pendant Lamp

Detailed work of combined weaving techniques such as plaited bamboo laths on the top surface; looped inner layers of bamboo on the bottom rim; and thin bamboo sticks sewed together with straw forming the rounded wall of the basket. The final result is a beautiful and lightweight lampshade that hung directly onto the electrical cord without the need of a hanging chain.

Made entirely by hand by artisans from Central Thailand.
