CRAFTSMANSHIP
This is a folk design. Passive fish-traps are practical artifacts that are placed at specific spots in rivers, canals or lakes with a bait to attract fish that can easily come into the trap but are not able to get out due to an attached closure with sharp endings. The weaving combines different techniques and it is as sophisticated as it is rustic.

"These were so great I loved how we were able to have it shipped without the electrical parts attached. We used these for an outdoor garden party and put rechargeable light bulbs in them instead. They worked out perfectly and are very nice quality. I love the fact that you could reshape them into so many different styles. I do wish that they showed a few photos of sizing a little bit easier to interpret but overall these were fantastic."

"Great shipping, beautiful packaging, and a good pendant in theory. I practice, there are several issues we weren't able to remedy: the flexible cord to which the light bulb attaches is slightly and permanently bent, so the bulb is always at an angle inside the pendant; and more importantly, the overall shape of the pendant itself could not be made symmetrical. We got it as close to symmetrical as we could by pulling on the cords inside the pendant numerous times to equalize them, but after much effort it's still lopsided. The pendant is an organic, flexible, and woven form, which is part of its charm, so maybe it's not meant to be symmetrical? Anyway, we did want symmetry and could not achieve it."
